Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to deliver this website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), to answer email enquiries and take requested pre-contract steps (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), and to remember a display preference you select (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interest is a secure, stable and usable public website.

We do not currently offer online checkout or user accounts.

Data we process

When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary request data (IP address, time, requested resource, and user agent) to deliver and secure the site.

If you email us, we process the details you send and the message content.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or marketing tracking.

Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary nuxt-color-mode cookie. The site initializes it with the system display setting and records any later light, dark or system choice. Region and language are determined only by the domain and URL path you visit and are not stored in cookies. There is no consent banner unless we later add non-essential technology.

Recipients and transfers

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, CDN and security services on our behalf and processes technical traffic data for those purposes. Our email provider processes the information you send by email. Other recipients receive data only where needed to answer your request, perform a contract, or meet a legal duty.

Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA. The applicable transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards depend on the signed data-processing agreement and account configuration; those details must be verified before public release.

Retention

Retention of technical traffic data is determined by the configured infrastructure-provider settings and must be documented before public release. Email correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request, manage a possible business relationship and meet legal retention duties. The display-preference cookie expires after no more than one year and can be deleted in your browser at any time.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
